art is the cure

Lately I’ve been talking and tweeting about a new paint I was working on. Today, I finished it (finally), it should’ve been finished long time ago but I was traveling and moving a lot lately, so, I couldn’t focus on it in every detail. That’s why I used a new technique I was dreaming about making it from the day one I knew a great artist. His name is David Garibaldi. I met him through his channel on youtube for the first time and I fall in love with his art. It’s kinda weird how did I know him because I was in the same situation that he was in when he began drawing for the first time.
I was frustrating and looking up for some fun videos to watch on youtube ’till I saw this man “performing” with music, and when I looked to his ways in painting, it was points, splashes, and little madness but it was like WOW. Couldn’t hold it ’till I try it myself but in a digital way, I mean “music and rhythm” is an irresistible title to try what it’s all about. My first try was for some old lady stock on Deviantart. I put my headphones and tried it, by the time i finished I looked at it once, twice, and thrice but i kept telling my self: DUDE, that’s nothing like this poor lady. There when I stopped trying “like always”.
And here I am with my second trying and I never thought this one would be like that! as I was saying, I’ve been moving and traveling a lot and I was just thinking about my life and those complex emotions .. it’s not the whole concept of the paint because when you think about it “it’s just Neytiri, from my favorite movie ever”, but it’s about “how I paint” .. the way and techniques! when you put it all together, you’ll be able to say how I felt that time .. it’s like collecting my feelings in a secret box with secret codes that no one will know it but me and the one who can dismantle the cipher .. ART is a crazy language, I may not be good at it but it’s enough for me to pursuit it.

This painting is simply amazing, Sarah! And your passion in art is very inspiring! I feel like people who are successful in things like Art, Music and so forth had to have the element of passion to become successful.
Best of luck, Soos… The painting and you are AMAZING!

Eh I was never a fan of using paints. Each time i attempted to use paint to draw something i’d end up making a colossal mess. I’ve always been more of a pen and pencil person.
btw nice blog and nice painting!
