Delta painting
July 18, 2010
do you know the feeling when you do something just because you love doing it? i felt the same when i was painting this piece
seriously, i felt nothing. completely blank. and i’m not used to do such a thing without feeling anything. but i felt it. i felt how to paint just because i love painting and pick up the right brushes or colors without any creative ideas.
i learned that i don’t have to come up with new ideas to make my artworks different. sometimes my style in painting is enough to make me different.
i added the pearl earring and diamond bracelet because those jewels are my favorite <3 (girl’s best friend) haha.
why delta? hmm, i just like her. if one day i’m going to be a worldwide celebrity (:D) i’d be exactly just like her in everything. copying her? yes, i mean why not? she’s beautiful and gotta an amazing vocals, high sensitive and good music, great sense of humor and so classy, she plays the piano in creative way and write lyrics of wisdom. i just like her style in everything.
i’m back

no i didn’t forgot that i have a blog but it’s been a bloody exhausting year so far, specially when i finishes school EVERYDAY at 4:20 pm. This semester i couldn’t get along with some classes, like something called “thinking skills” class. It was laterally BORING and useless, i mean why the hell we have to take this class? it didn’t make any sense!! also i couldn’t get along with some of the Saudi girls easily after 2 years wasted in home with no social communication. They were from so many deferent social layers. MOST of em were from the south of Riyadh which was kinda weird thing to know those girls because i live in a far region from there, so, i almost knew how their life style is like until now (believe me, it’s a tough one). i’ve been neglected by them and assaulted so many times for some of my thoughts like the idea of Saudi woman is driving her car to the supermarket! or wearing Hejab instead of Neghab.. or traveling with your mom and sisters without a male.. the list can go on if you want to know! but i’ve never been exposed to such opinions like this ever in my life (face to face) and i didn’t like their reactions about it because most of them hmm…. i’m not gonna say close-minded, but they adopted their parents thoughts and beliefs.. (some of em will read and say “oo boy!”).
but at the end i did got the experience, and it’s “to remain silent in their present“, don’t go through anything would make debates in politics or religions.
i’m gonna back with more….
huge night
March 7, 2010
I’m so excited for the Oscars tonight. Never been like this and it’s because all my favorite movies and artists are nominated in one night. I’m talking about AVATAR, Inglourious Basterds, Zimmer, Bullock, Coraline, Nine, District 9, and UP!. But i’m so upset because Pitt wasn’t on the list and he really deserved a nomination for his role as Lt. Raine, indeed it’s not like his acting as Button but he absolutely deserved it.

waiting what could happen any ways on the red carpet
art is the cure
February 23, 2010
Lately I’ve been talking and tweeting about a new paint I was working on. Today, I finished it (finally), it should’ve been finished long time ago but I was traveling and moving a lot lately, so, I couldn’t focus on it in every detail. That’s why I used a new technique I was dreaming about making it from the day one I knew a great artist. His name is David Garibaldi. I met him through his channel on youtube for the first time and I fall in love with his art. It’s kinda weird how did I know him because I was in the same situation that he was in when he began drawing for the first time.
I was frustrating and looking up for some fun videos to watch on youtube ’till I saw this man “performing” with music, and when I looked to his ways in painting, it was points, splashes, and little madness but it was like WOW. Couldn’t hold it ’till I try it myself but in a digital way, I mean “music and rhythm” is an irresistible title to try what it’s all about. My first try was for some old lady stock on Deviantart. I put my headphones and tried it, by the time i finished I looked at it once, twice, and thrice but i kept telling my self: DUDE, that’s nothing like this poor lady. There when I stopped trying “like always”.
And here I am with my second trying and I never thought this one would be like that! as I was saying, I’ve been moving and traveling a lot and I was just thinking about my life and those complex emotions .. it’s not the whole concept of the paint because when you think about it “it’s just Neytiri, from my favorite movie ever”, but it’s about “how I paint” .. the way and techniques! when you put it all together, you’ll be able to say how I felt that time .. it’s like collecting my feelings in a secret box with secret codes that no one will know it but me and the one who can dismantle the cipher .. ART is a crazy language, I may not be good at it but it’s enough for me to pursuit it.
good music on road
February 20, 2010
I have just returned home from a long journey. While we were on our way back by a car, we’ve listened to a good number of good music, one of them was “The Job” by Qusai. It was interesting song talk about “recruitment of young people” and “youth unemployment”. It’s a mix between the Gulf and western tunes.
Qusai Kheder is almost the first Saudi professional rapper. He studied for bachelor’s degree in management information systems, and a master’s degree majoring in human resources in the US, then he moved back to KSA after he got a good popularity as a DJ in private parties in Jeddah city and opened his own studio. I think it’s an amazing song with an amazing lyrics
it’s kinda funny and brings the reality up to the surface. I don’t like rap music while traveling but this one was just fine.
Maroon 5 were the best choice during driving for long distances and I’d recommend them in every travel you’ll make (just don’t go anywhere without Maroon 5 in your mp3 player, and yes, ALL of their songs).
Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, and Dido are perfect artists to make us think again of slowing down our lives for a bit because we rush it sometimes with hasty decisions. Specially Dido, she might be boring for some but she’ll be more interesting if you listened to “Life for rent” while driving and think about those mysterious lyrics about life, traveling, moving, and thoughts.
If you don’t like country music, you should have a second thought about it specially if you are traveling by a car. Make country music your best friend and you should have the Dixie Chicks’ song “the long way around” .. It’s my top whether I was on plane or train or car or whatever… this song suit all places and times.
Look up for Aerosmith and Daughtry’s songs .. very amusing and entertainment bands in long roads. If you hate traveling, then stay away from listening to rap a lot ’cause it’s will be a matter of time ’till your head will start to spin around and you won’t be able to relax or thinking about more important things, because we all know that roads are boring. And it’s more boring for those who hate it. But if you start to think and talk to your inner “you” the time will fly away without even feeling it, and rap won’t help you to do that, neither metal nor hard rock for sure.
Take those recommendations from a person who traveled for 10 times in a year ![]()
more is coming soon…..
but one more thing, how about you? what do you like to listen to while traveling?
James Cameron’s epic adventure
February 15, 2010
I need to talk about an amazing revolution in Hollywood started in 2005 but the idea of it was made in 1995 by James Cameron, the director of Titanic. I need to talk about the movie AVATAR.
I watched it in cam version (disaster for some people) but for me the movie kept its amazement.. I shouldn’t see a movie like this on flat screen with cam version but I couldn’t wait after all that reviews I’ve read.
AVATAR is the most beautiful movie I’ve ever seen.. everything in the movie was literally alive and real. I wanna talk about the story for a bit because some have been saying to me “the story is so ordinary” but let me tell you something, for me, the idea of “humans are aliens” on somebody’s planet is a hard concept to reach in details. So it wasn’t that “ordinary” for sure. But it talks about peace, freedom, love, and more. It reminds us why we’re humans not animals. When I read the summary of the story I thought “ok this should be perfect for a video game, but for a movie?” but I was in shock of how they did make it the perfect story for a film.
I’m gonna talk “Graphics” now ![]()
James Cameron created Pandora (a planet similar to earth) which was impressive. The idea of Pandora (mounts – fountains – rainy woods – animals – etc) it’s CONCRETE and I was trying to convince my self over and over again that what I’m actually viewing wasn’t an animated film, because it looks like that but I don’t feel the same way, and I was right. It’s not an animated film and that’s why I felt the movement of the characters. Cameron used CGI (the same technology that used in Benjamin Button) and I guess that Cameron started working on his project after Benjamin’s project because they both started at the same year 2005. In that year, CGI was just discovered by Benjamin’s group (I’m talking about the developed one) but I think that Cameron took the whole advantages of this new technology. He used it in every way possible that you facilely believe he took his work to a real planet call Pandora. The portrayal of Pandora’s Paradise make you eager to live in that environment.
The concept of AVATAR’s machines and world.
It’s CRAZY CRAZY concepts, I’ve never seen like it before.. the helicopter is all new stuff with that unique design and the powersuit was magnificent, the Tree of Souls was something imaginary. There’s an element of artifice that’s very hard to describe.
Done some researches and photos of AVATAR artworks and I found these photos I wanna share. Enjoy…
